Fujifilm Announces FinePix F900EXR and F850EXR Compact Cameras

Fujifilm have today announced the release of the FinePix F900EXR and F850EXR compact cameras. The F900EXR includes a FUJINON 20x optical zoom lens with minimum focal length of 25mm, a 16 megapixel EXR-CMOS II sensor with Phase Detection AF and a EXR Processor II.

Fujifilm say that the F900EXR will also focus in just 0.05 seconds and will include burst mode rates of 11fps, there’s also a 25-500mm telephoto zoom, which will allow for magnification up to 40x. There’s also a new Wireless Image Transfer mode allowing users to transfer photos and movies to smartphone, tablets and computers and the camera can shoot Full HD movies at 60fps.

The F900EXR doesn’t have an official price yet, but will be available in Black, Red, Navy Blue and Champagne Gold.

Fujifilm also announced the F850EXR long zoom compact camera, with a FUJINON 20x optical zoom lens providing a zoom range of 25-500mm alongside the EXR-CMOS sensor and EXR Processor II and a design much like the F900EXR.

The F850EXR can also focus in just 0.21 seconds with twice the processing speed than the previous EXR processor, the 850 can startup in just 1.1 seconds and has a burst frame rate of 9.0 fps.

The F850EXR can also shoot Full HD movies and will offer a range of filter modes similar to the F900EXR.

However it will not include the same Wireless sharing functions. There’s no price announced yet, but we do know the camera will be available in black, red, olive and white.
