PS Vita To Get Wii U Like Remote Play

Probably the Wii U’s biggest selling point is it controller, it has a built in display which allows you to continently play your game without interruptions when other people want to use the TV, it seems as if Sony have released this is a big selling point and have copied their idea with the new PSP Vita.
Sony’s R&D manager, Phil Rogers recently confirmed that the upcoming Playstation Vita will have integration much like that of the Wii U, allowing players to watch their Playstation 3 game straight from onto the Playstation Vita:
“PS3 can send data down to Vita and Vita can display it. You could use the unique features – gyroscope, touch front and back – as a control device for a PS3 game.
“You can run software on both devices and use the network to sync the game states. And that’s pretty good, because you then have the processing power of PS3 doing that work, Vita [doing] fancy graphics – however you want to do it. You’re not sacrificing the PS3?s CPU to be able to have a rich experience on Vita.”
According to Roder the first of these cross-platform games will be Hustle Kings, which is basically a pool game which you play various ball potting games, but this compatablity wont only be on the new games, Rodgerss suggests that the devlopers could release patch updates to allow for this compatablity.
What do you think? Is this a feature you think the Playstation could use? Or is it just blatent copying?
