Apple Launching A Low Spec iMac Specifically For Students, Only £610
08/08/2011 | Nicholas Griffin
Apple has been renowned by students everywhere for the excellent Education Discount, but recently I heard it might be getting even better, apple revealed yesterday a new 21.5 inch iMac, with a 3.1GHz dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM and a AMD Radeon Preprocessor, which are suspected to be released here in the UK around late 2011, the pricing for the US model has been set at $999, making a UK model around £610 which is an absolute bargain.
This obviously isn’t going got be the best iMac in the world and may have a few performance issues, but would be great for anyone on a budget. we have only received one update of a 16th of August release date from 9to5mac, but as of yet this is just a rumor.
What do you think? Would you buy a budget iMac? When do you think the new Mac might be released?
