Playstation Vita Available For Pre-Order From Amazon

Recently Sony announced that it’s brand new PS Viva would not launch till next year, but despite this Amazon has already begun pre-orders for the Playstation Portable successor, whilst advertising a shipping date of the 31st of December 2011.
As this is only just this year Sony have only just kept there world, but this is awesome news considering most of us thought the Vita would be released sometime in early 2012. Prices start at £299.99 for the Wi-Fi only version, with no information on the 3G’s pricing just yet.
In US though you will need to sign up to a data agreement with AT&T in order to get the 3G, which will be the only supported carrier. In the UK though we will just have to wait with no word of a supported carrier just yet, but I would expect it to be supported by O2 or T-Mobile to start with.
With both devices more or less the same apart from the 3G aspect, I wouldn’t expect to high of an increase from the £299.99 mark and I would think it will cost you around £350 pounds to get you hands on that 3G goodness, personally I cannot wait for the Vita to be released as it is one console I have been looking forward to sense release.
What do you think? Are you getting the new Playstation Vita? How much do you think the 3G model would set you back?
