This weeks CES event, has certainly left us with a lot of new smartphones to look forward, with Sony not being one to be left behind, they also revealed their newest Z1000 Walkman series, which will feature a 4.3 inch LCD touchscreen, and is available with a variety of storage options up to 64GBs.

Alongside these already quite impressive specs, the new Walkman will also be powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread, with the addition of Android’s Market alongside various apps created by Sony themselves, including the S-Master MX digital amplifier, which according to Sony can be used to balance noise levels and reduce distortion.

Strangely however there is no 3G data, with the only connection allowing you to access the internet being Wi-Fi and GPRS, but the phone does include the new DLNA feature, which will allow you to stream your content to any other compatible device.

Alongside this, one great feature the Z1000 also includes a Micro HDMI connection, alongside as with any other Walkman phone the Z1000 will  also include a dedication W button, which will allow you to access your music collection instantly.

The Z1000 will be launched in the US this spring and will be available from around $250 to $330.
