iOS 5.1 Tethered Jailbreak Already Available

If you jailbreak your iPhone constantly you may have been wondering yesterday if you could go ahead with an update, well now you can as the iPhone Dev Team have already came up with a tethered jailbreak for all iOS devices released before the iPad 2 capable of running iOS 5.1
This includes the original iPad, the iPhone 3GS/ 4 and the iPod Touch. But there is a downside to this jailbreak, being that it is tethered meaning you must plug your device into a computer before you can re-boot.
But if that doesn’t bother you than go ahead and update your phone from iTunes 10.6 to the new iOS 5.1 software after which you will need to run the latest version of RedSnow and follow the instructions.
