Apple is probably one of the most secretive companies around the world, which includes most of all its factories over at Foxconn who assemble all of the products Apple releases. But a video from Rob Schmitz reveals the first ever peek at one of Apple’s Assembly Lines.
The video was made for the radio show Marketplace, gives use details on the steps that are taken throughout the iPad assembly line which include buckling a tag to the motherboard after which workers add other components to the iPad’s housing, then they add the display installation then finally the new iPad goes through gyroscope and screen tests.
To do all of this workers are paid $14 a day when they first start, after which the amount doubles after they work there longer. That doesn’t seem like much but still prospective workers line up every day with the hope of securing one of these jobs at Foxconn, this is because this one factory in China is thought as one of the best to work at, giving workers athletics fields and gyms for workers, even paying their workers one time, check out the video below for more info and let us know what you think about it in the comments section below.
