Revolutionary Sony LT29i Hayabusa Coming in June

One of Sony’s upcoming phones, the so-called LT29i Hayabusa, was first noticed in the leaked roadmap for 2012, expected to be launched this summer. Now more details about this device have become available, and they make us think it’s going to be the best of all Sony mobile phones.
The processor of the upcoming LT29i Hayabusa (the name will be changed most likely… perhaps it’ll get some “Xperia” name later) is only a dual-core one clocked at 1.5 GHz. Of course, we thought Sony’s best phone is going to come with a quad-core CPU, just like some of the flagships of other companies (like the HTC One X or the LG Optimus 4X HD), but even this dual-core processor is supposed to be very fast and impressive, not yielding to quad-cores in any area.
The phone is said to come with a 4.55-inch HD Retina Display, so bright colors are also guaranteed. As for the dimensions, the LT29i Hayabusa is going to be only 7mm thin, but a powerful 2200mAh battery will be located in that small and thin case.
The most interesting feature of the phone is perhaps its 13MP stacked camera sensor, which is said to improve low-light performance and take great-quality pics. They say it will also introduce the new HDR Video function – see the short video below to learn more about it:
There is no info about the design of Sony’s new phone yet, but it’s supposed to look like the one on the pic above, with the display taking the whole front and on-screen buttons for ICS’s navigation (which hints us that the phone will run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich).
This is all about the Sony LT29i Hayabusa for now, but we hope to get new details soon enough, since the phone is going to arrive this June. Most likely, it’ll first be launched in Europe (including the UK) and the US and then go to all the other countries.
