Apple Files For Ownership Of iphone5.com
07/05/2012 | Nicholas Griffin
You may or may not have heard of the iPhone5.com website which currently hosts a forum in which you can post about all the latest news and discussions surrounding the iPhone 5, well if Apple get their own way this won’t be happening any more as they have filed a claim with the World Intellectual Property Organisation in order to obtain control from the current owner.
The site which was launched back in October 2010 may soon become a redirection to the main Apple website.
We already know the extent to which Apple wins its court cases, especially ones that involve trademarks but this could take a long time as it did with iPhone4.com and iPhone4S.com.
What do you think about this? Should Apple be allowed to do this? Will they win?
