ITV Partnering With Shazam To Provide Music Detecting Adverts
11/05/2012 | Nicholas Griffin
Personally I am a huge fan of Britain’s Got Talent, but currently think they could introduce a bit more tech to make it a bit more engaging for the other fans out there.
ITV currently have great plans to do this through the Shazam app, in which they are going to allow fans to use the app during adverts in order to win a selection of prizes.
The first adverts to use this technology will be during one of the Britain’s Got Talent shows through the Pepsi Max and Cadbury Unwrap Gold advertisements, giving users the chance to win tickets to summer festivals, the opening ceremony to the London Olympics 2012 as well as various other Pepsi and Cadbury merchandise.
If you are interested you can download the app on any Apple, Android, BlackBerry, Windows and Nokia devices, and enter yourself into the draw when the finale airs on Saturday 12 of May.
