Samsung Confirms 1-2 week delay on Pebble Blue version of Galaxy S III

Even though the S III was released early today with no delays it seems that Samsung isn’t fully out of the water as they have just announced that the Pebble Blue version of the device will be delayed by 1-2 weeks in the United kingdom “in order to meet the highest internal quality standards.”
Alongside which they also mentioned that if you have already pre-ordered a pebble blue version of the device you may have to wait 2-3 weeks:
“Samsung’s GALAXY S III Pebble Blue version comes with a newly invented blue color and special hyperglaze material.
In order to meet the highest internal quality standards and to provide the best quality GALAXY S III to customers, a short supply of Pebble Blue version is expected in some regions in the next 2-3 weeks.
Samsung is working hard to ensure that customers will get the Pebble Blue colored devices as soon as possible.”
But don’t worry if you have ordered the Ceramic White version of the Galaxy S III, as that will be launched today as planned.
