Vodaphone Unveils New Budget Android Smartphone

It’s not always possible for anyone to buy a fancy new expensive phone when they are released, so sometimes a budget version of a smartphone is perfect, and that’s just what Vodaphone’s new Smart III smartphones promise.

The new budget smartphone will set you back a tiny £70 and for that you get a 3.2 inch HVGA display, 3.2 megapixel rear facing camera (might be a theme with 3.2 here), as well as that the phone also packs an 800MHz processor, 150MBs of internal storage, a free 2GB MicroSD card, all running on Android’s not so recent Gingerbread OS.

But you do get a selection of apps pre-loaded onto the phone which include official Facebook and Twitter apps alongside the usual Gmail, Gtalk, YouTube and Google Play ones.

If the phone takes your fancy you can pick it up from Vodaphone from today, in dark grey or white. Also check out the video below for a sneak peek.
