For a world so much into technology it’s suprising how much paper we still carry around with us, especially tickets. Apple wants to change all that with to new iOS 6 application called, Passbook which will allow you to store your boarding passes, movie tickets, train tickets and a Starbucks gift card on your iDevice, alongside which the app is also location aware and will automatically bring up your card when you walk into the corresponding shop, alongside which you will also receive updates to your ticket such as a gate change announcement through a notification.

Coming bundled with iOS 6 this fall, this new feature looks great I just hope it will work as well in places outside the US.
