It’s always good news when a new Xbox 360 dashboard is about ready for download, with the next update rolling out for “a few” users already, others will have to wait according to Major Nelson’s Twitter:

We don’t know much as far as what the update will include, but presumably it will just be some bug fixes and prepping for the all important one that will include my favorite part from E3, Smartglass, Major Nelson did say this about what will be included:
The system updated contains behind the scenes improvements & prep for future enhancements
