When it comes to banks you expect them have a very small amount of problems, especially since they are keeping your money under lock and key, but recent the Royal Bank of Scotland has had a major software fault resulting in customers not being able to access their funds and effected RBS’s subsidiaries including Ulster Bank and Natwest. The problem according to BusinessWeek first began last Tuesday due to a system outage causing a rolling backlog of unprocessed transactions, since the problems RBS has been working on fixing the issue, but the issue has still not been fixed with one woman having a balance of zero since last Tuesday without access to her funds since, everything should be fixed by Monday next week according to the bank.
