Normally Apple creates Ads showcasing their products in a form that is as thought about as their products, but today they decided to change it up with a series of three commercials for their Genius Bar service broadcast during the 2012 London Olympics.
The first thing you will notice is they are nothing like that, and feature quite a bit of acting that makes the ads look more like a reality TV show than a new Apple advertisement.
All of the three ads feature an actor in various locations, helping random people with their mac problems.
The thing that I didn’t quite understand was how cheep and tacky the ads look and feel, portraying the average Apple customer as someone who doesn’t know the device between a Mac and a paper bag.
