By now a lot of you may have automatically be changed to Facebook’s new Timeline UI, or decided to change yourself, if you have though you may notice a new update to the way your photos appear, which is due to thee fact that the service has tweaked the UI to make photos bigger and more prominent next to text.
Once you have clicked on a photo icon within the top of your timeline, you will notice that now the entire screen will be filled with larger photos to help you search for the one you need. You can then click on a specific photograph and highlight the photo on your profile, which with is the same as statuses, you simply press the star button that will appear in the top right of each photo.
So far the tweaks have only been released on selected profiles, but they do say that the feature will be rolled out globally once they have improved the experience further.
