Steve Jobs’ Home Ransacked, Suspect Arrested On Suspicion of Stealing Over $60,000 In Property

Mercury News reported that on July 17th the home of the Apple Co-Founder, Steve Jobs was victim to a burglary which resulted in more than $60,000 worth of computers and personal items stolen.
The report came from the Santa Clara County Deputy District Attorney, Tom Flattery who did not say whether they items belonged to Steve Jobs himself or another family member, but did say they have arrested Kariem MacFarlin, on suspicion of burglarizing the property:
“McFarlin, who remains in county jail on $500,000 bail, could face a maximum prison sentence of seven years and eight months, including a one-year enhancement for “excessive taking of property,” Flattery said. He is slated to return to court Aug. 20 to enter a plea.”
Which just shows, even the homes of Silicon Valley legends are not safe.
