Nokia Announces Lumia 620 With Windows Phone 8
05/12/2012 | Nicholas Griffin
During the LeWeb 2012 event in Paris Nokia announced something earlier today that we weren’t really expecting, named the Lumia 620 which is the companies latest entry-level handset with a 3.8 TFT screen with a WVGA resolution, interchangeable back covers and NFC connectivity.
The phone runs on a 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor with 512Mb of RAM and 8GB of in-built storage which will be expandable up to 64GB with a microSD card.
There’s also a 5 megapixel camera on the back which is capable of recording 720p video (there is an LED flash alongside it btw), on the front there’s a second VGA camera.
In the U.S. the phone will begin shipping in January 2013 for $249, were not sure of a UK pricing or availability just yet but we will update this if we find out.
