Samsung Announces New Smart Camera Range

Of course this years CES like most years has been filled with camera and mobile phone announcements, and where would all that be without Samsung, who decided to launch a new update to its line of Smart Cameras originally launched in 2013.

The new cameras come in various shapes and sizes with various features for different photographers, the flagship zoom model is the WB250F which you can see in the image above, this camera packs a 14.2 megapixel 1/2.3 inch backside illuminated CMOS sensor, with 18x optical zoom, f/3.2 maximum aperture and a 3 inch touchscreen display on the rear, the camera can also support ISO ranges up to 3200.

Alongside that the WB250F will also include various smart shooting features, available in white, black, red and gunmetal.

Then there’s the Samsung WB800F that offers up a 16 megapixel 1/2.3 inch CMOS sensor, 3 inch touchscreen, a 21x optical zoom with a range of 23-483mm and a faster f/2.8 maximum aperture, also available in black, white and red the WB800F measures in at just 110.6 x 65 x 21.5mm and weighing 218g.

Or if you prefer there’s the WB30F with a 16MP CCD sensor, 10x optical zoom lens ranging from 24-240mm and only packing a tiny 3 inch display, however this camera is the smallest of the bunch measuring in at 98 x 57.9 x 16.5mm camera and weighing 131g.

It will be available in black, white, pink, purple and red.

The Samsung DV151F comes with its own USP, a dual view camera which will allow you to take self-portraits or group shoots from the 1.48 inch LCD display on the front, you can also play animations on the front to attract the glances of children.

Also on the front there’s a 5x optical zoom lens ranging from 25-125mm, and grants a f/2.5 maximum aperture, on the rear there’s a 2.7 inch display.

The DV151F will be available in plum, lime green and light pink.

And finally last but not least is the Samsung ST150F with 5x optical zoom, f/2.5 max aperture, 16MP CCD sensor and 3 inch display on the back.

None of these devices have exact release dates or prices just yet, but we will let you know when they do.
