Skydrive Now Hosts Over A Billion Office Documents

Microsoft’s storage service in the cloud, Skydrive has today been announced to be hosting over a billion Office documents. In order to celebrate the guys over at Microsoft have decided to add some new features to the service.

Well I should probably say feature as there’s only one, the ability to edit documents through Office Web Apps without having to sign into a Microsoft account, as long as the person sharing it doesn’t want you too that is.

To do so, you simply get someone to send you a document via a sharing link and your ready to go.
