Razer launches new Kraken 7.1 gaming headset

Razer has today announced their latest gaming headset in the form of the Razer Kraken 7.1, which is available for purchase from today for $100, it features full 7.1 surround sound via USB, with the use of an advanced 7.1 virtual surround sound engine.

Using the latest Synapse 2.0 unified configuration software, the headset can also be set up to your specific gaming needs, with full 360 degree surround sound, the headset can provide audio with pinpoint accuracy on the direction of your enemy.

And alongside that the Kraken 7.1 is also fitted with a retractable omnidirectional digital microphone that can be hidden in the left ear cup when not in use and has been optimised  for great sound quality, with an extended wideband frequency response.
