The Last of Us has had huge fanfare for gamers and reviewers alike, released for the PlayStation3  earlier this month, developed by Naughty Dog and created by Sony Computer Entertainment, the game has received a ton of 10/10 reviews, as you can see from the image above.

After it leaked just a couple of days ago, Activision has now officially announced the next DLC pack to launch for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. Dubbed Vengeance the new pack will launch on July 2nd for Xbox Live, priced at 1200 Microsoft Points, after which it will launch on other platforms gradually.

for which you will get four new multiplayer maps, a new zombie mode and an all new ray-gun.

“Call of Duty: Black Ops II Vengeance delivers four new, diverse multiplayer maps starting with “Cove,” where the stage is set for all-out conflict on this small, forgotten island in the middle of the Indian Ocean, with players battling it out amongst the wreckage of a jet that crash-landed during a smuggling operation gone wrong.”

“Next up is “Detour,” a destroyed suspension bridge, high above an East Coast waterway, packed with scattered vehicles, exposed iron and collapsed pavement where the head-to-head action will play out on multiple levels. The third map, “Rush,” sets the stage for fast, close-quarters engagements in this paintball course turned full-combat arena, giving players new opportunities and challenges to use the cover to their advantage. Rounding out Vengeance’s multiplayer maps is “Uplink.” In this re-imagined adaptation of the fan-favorite multiplayer map “Summit” from the original Call of Duty: Black Ops, players clash deep in the rain-soaked jungles of Myanmar, high atop a hi-tech mountain facility.”

“Treyarch yet again expands the Zombies storyworld in new, mind-bending ways with “Buried.” Players meet up with old characters and will encounter new ones as they face off against the undead residents of an abandoned underground Old West mining town. A healthy arsenal of equipment and weapons that will be at players’ disposal, but with one very special addition – something so powerful it will also appear in all other Call of Duty: Black Ops II Zombies maps (with the purchase of Vengeance DLC): the Ray Gun Mark II.”

The developer of the original Hotline Miami game that took the world by storm, has today announced that they will soon be released the second game in the series, Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number.

Due for release later this year, Dennation Games say that the game will follow “an escalating level of violence through multiple factions born from the events of the original game — all within the confines of blistering combat, the unmistakable visual style, and another powerful and intense soundtrack that pushes you to the limit and forces you to question your own thirst for blood.”

Within thee game you will play as several different murderous characters, all with their own motivations and methods of execution, you must “satisfy your murder lust” with a ton of new weapons.

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number will launch later this year for PC, Mac and Linux, in the meantime check out the teaser trailer below.

In May 2012, Rockstar released Max Payne 3 for both the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3, shortly after which, in June 2012, the game then released on Windows, and now almost a year later the game has been announced for the Mac.

In case you don’t already know, Max Payne 3 basically follows the life of the newly appointed security guard for the wealthy of São Paulo, Max Payne. During the story you will follow his actions as he tries to escape his troubled past.

There’s no details in pricing for the Mac version or anything about its release date, however they did reveal that the game will feature “cutting edge shooting mechanics for precision gunplay, advanced new Bullet Time and Shootdodge effects, full integration of Natural Motion’s Euphoria Character Behavior system for lifelike movement and a dark and twisted story”.

The version for Mac will also support 3D connectivity, but will require Mac OS X 10.7.5 Lion, an Intel Dual Core Xeon / Core i Series 2.4 GHZ or greater, NVIDIA 8800GT 512MB VRAM or AMD Radeon HD 4870 512 VRAM, as well as 4GB of RAM and 35GB of HDD space.

With Activision still yet to release another two DLC packs for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, the game isn’t going anywhere yet, and it seems that the next pack in the line-up will be announced soon as some promotional posters have now leaked online.

Dubbed Vengence, the DLC will add another four new maps, a new zombie level and a brand new gun.

According to the leak, the normal maps will be named Cove, Rush, Uplink, and Detour, whereas the zombie map/ mode will be named Buried, however the interesting part of the poster is the bottom, clearly showing that the next DLC will also include a Ray Gun Mark II for zombies as a bonus.

EA has today announced the latest DLC for The Sims 3, dubbed “Island Paradise” the new expansion pack will add a new island for your sims to visit on holiday.

Here’s EA’s full description:

“New adventures await your Sims on the sunny shores and beneath the glistening water of an island paradise! From exploring the tropical isles to creating a five-star resort experience, your Sims can decide to embark on an unforgettable journey or make themselves a new home in this new utopia. E3 2013 has been full of announcements, trailers and screenshots for games that I for one will be waiting eagerly over the next couple of years for, one of those games is defiantly the console version of Diablo III, which will be making its way to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 4 on September 3rd 2013.

But we don’t have to wait that log for more details, as blizzard has today revealed new details on the games multiplayer mode for the PlayStation 3, which will offer a split-screen co-op mode for up to four people.

This mode will allow players to take the role of either a Witch Doctor, Barbarian, Wizard, Monk or Demon Hunter, joining “the eternal struggle between the High Heavens and the Burning Hells”.

Bethesda Softworks has today confirmed the launch of The Elder Scrolls Online for both the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One in Spring 2014, alongside the previously announced PC and Mac release.

Alongside this, Sony also revealed that they will be hosting the first beta for the game, exclusively on the PlayStation 4.

If you don’t know about it yet, The Elder Scrolls Online is a massively multiplayer role-playing game, developed by ZeniMax Online Studios, it will be a fantasy based title similar to that of previous games.

Probably one of the best reveals during Sony’s E3 2013 press conference, was Quantic Dream’s new tech demo for the PS4, called The Dark Sorcerer, it shows how well the PS4 can actually perform graphically.

Rendered in full 1080p, with 350MB of textures, 40 different shaders and about a million polygons for the set, and another 1 million for each on-screen character.

During their E3 press conference, EA today revealed some new details for Battlefeild 4, showing of its new 64 man server capabilities, they revealed a new trailer dubbed the “Siege of Shanghai”, that showcases some of the games 60fps gameplay, as well as its capabilities with tablets.

Here’s the official description for Battlefield 4:

EA’s partnership with UFC has been going on for about a year now, but now we are only just seeing official news of what that partnership has produced, with EA releasing a brand new trailer for the game during their conference at E3 2013.

Aside from the trailer (which you can watch below), they didn’t really reveal too much about the game itself, although they have released this description for the title.

During Sony’s E3 press conference a lot of games were announced, but one of the most interesting, at least in my view, was defiantly a new title called The Order: 1886.

Developed by Ready at Dawn, The Order is an Action/ Adventure game set in the Victorian-Era of London, within which you play as an elite order of knights to fight what Sony say is “join a centuries-old war that will determine the course of history forever.”

Something we actually expected a little was the announcement of the new Mirror’s Edge game during E3 2013 earlier today.

Announced by EA, all we know so far is that it will be launching in 2014, however a good guess as to the games availability, would defiantly include the Xbox One and PS4, we do also know that it will be powered by the Frostbite 3 engine.

Square Enix had their own presentation to make during Sony’s E3 2013 press conference earlier today, announcing the release of both Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts 3 on the PlayStation 4.

Not much news was revealed during the announcement, so we might have to wait a little longer for details, but they did reveal both games with a set of trailers for both games, so we can at least take a quick look at what they might be like.
