Samsung officially announces the Galaxy Note 3 Neo

Samsung has today unveiled the long rumoured Galaxy Note 3 Neo, unveiled by Samsung Poland the phablet will be aimed at customers looking for a budget handset. The Neo will begin shipping globally in February, available in black, white and green, the handset will come with both 3G and LTE+ versions and will feature a 5.5 inch AMOLED display that has a 720 x 1080 pixel resolution. There’s also an 8 megapixel BSI rear-facing camera with LED flash, 2 megapixel front-facing camera, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, support for MicroSD cards and a 3,100mAh battery. Apple celebrates 30 years of Mac

Today marks the Mac’s 30th birthday and in order to celebrate Apple has released a new video that showcases all of the greatest moments from its lifetime, beginning on January 24th 1984, when Steve Jobs first unveiled the new Macintosh during the MacWorld 1984 expo. Since that time Apple has moved away from MacWorld (likely because it doesn’t exist anymore) and started to unveil the next versions of the Mac at its own expos in various locations. Samsung announces the 12.2 inch Galaxy Note Pro

Ahead of their official CES 2014 press event, Samsung has announced their new 12.2 inch galaxy Note Pro, featuring a 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution, a Exynos 5 Octa chip for the Wi-Fi with 3G model and a quad-core Snapdragon 800 chipset for the 4G version. The tablet also includes an S-Pen as well as LTE capabilities, an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera, 2 megapixel front-facing camera, 3GB of RAM, 32/64GB of storage, a 9500mAh battery, Android 4.4 KitKat and a bunch of Samsung’s usual software add-ons like Action Memo and S Finder. At the moment though, that’s all we know, we should be able to update you with more information later.

Samsung launches the Galaxy Tab Pro in 12.2, 10.1 and 8.4 inch sizes

As expected, Samsung has today announced the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro during their CES 2014 conference, featuring a range of sizes, the Tab Pro is available in 12.2, 10.1 and 8.4 inch models, however it does not carry the Note name and as such, does not carry an S Pen. Starting with the 12.2 inch model which has a 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution (247ppi) and a 16:10 aspect ratio, the biggest Tab Pro features a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset, 4G LTE connectivity, or a 3G version with a Samsung Exynos 5 Octa chipset. Apple has just announced that its new 2013 model of the Mac Pro desktop will be available to purchase from tomorrow (Thursday 19 December), as was just announced on their website today. The new Mac Pro has been completely redesigned with an aluminium enclosed circular design, featuring a unified thermal core in the centre, the new Pro is smaller, lighter and a lot better looking than the previous model, however it’s not just about its looks. ASUS announce the rumoured PadFone Mini

ASUS have today announced the long-rumoured PadFone Mini at an event in Japan. As expected the tablet/ smartphone mix features a 7-inch tablet that allows the 4.3 inch smartphone to be docked inside. Basically PadFone Mini is also a small and low-powered version of the PadFone Infinity, featuring the same sort of setup and design. Inside the Mini you get a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon MSM8226 CPU when combined, with 1GB of RAM. The 4.3 inch screen has a 960 x 560 pixel resolution and the 7-inch has a 1280 x 800 resolution. Bungie’s Destiny will ship on September 9th 2014 worldwide

One of the biggest titles that most people have been waiting for is Destiny, one of the biggest games to be announced for the next-generation console, the game has today been announced to ship worldwide on September 9th, 2014. PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 gamers will also get the first chance to try out the beta for the game sometime in summer, with Xbox 360 and Xbox One users getting the beta soon after. Netflix’s House of Cards Season Two to be released on February 14th 2014
