Alongside this the phone looks to be quite slim, you can’t really tell from this picture, but if you look carefully you can see its not that much higher of the top of the table.

We have yet to see any more rumors than that however, so there’s not much else I can tell you, hopefully now that the phone has been leaked, LG won’t take too long to officially announce the phone.

And when they do we will make sure to let you know.

Dubbed the LG Optimus GK, the new handset features a 5 inch HD display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution and a 440ppi pixel density.

Also featured is a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage and support for up to a 64GB microSD card.

There’s also LTE compatibility, and support for Android 4.1.2 jelly Bean.

Like many other phones on the market today, the Optimus GK also features both a front and a rear facing camera, the back is a 13 megapixel and the front is 2 megapixel.

The GK also includes a 3,100mAh battery.

As it is designed for the Korean market, no details for a UK or US launch have been detailed yet.

LG have today confirmed the release of their latest flagship device, the Optimus G2 which was originally teased during their MWC press event

G’s Head of Mobile Communication for Europe, Won Kim revealed to Trusted Reviews, ”The LG Optimus G2 is coming in Q3.” Continuing to say, ”we don’t want to hide everything but similarly we don’t want to promote everything about the G2 in advance.”

“To some extent we have to tease the features and specifications through channels, it is somewhat premature for me to talk about the G2 in terms of specifications.”

“[The] G2 is going to be something different, something unique and we have needed to be very creative.”

So basically we have a load of marketing babble, an image of the phone, a confirmation but no specs or actual details, but Kim did confirm that the LG Optimus G2 will launch in the UK and other markets globally.

“Aggressive pushing forward with 4G LTE technology allows LG satisfy the needs of consumers and is a huge factor in our growing success in global LTE smartphone sales, having established ourselves as a major industry player, we will continue to expand our footprint in the global LTE market with a wider range of differentiated, high quality LTE smartphones.”

This new figure is almost double the number they announced back in August last year, which shows the company is starting to gain respect within the market.

The F5 looks to be the cheaper of the two handsets with somewhat of a duller design, although both have been surrounded with a band that looks to be made from metal.

We have no further leaks on these devices, so don’t really have much else to say specs wish, as all we know currently is what’s shown in the image above.

However we expect to hear more when LG hosts their press event on February 25th

This could mean that the company are looking to reveal up to four new devices next week.

However given that LG have already revealed the Optimus L and G Pro headsets, the only ones left are the V and F handsets.

The V could also be the new Vu handset, of course we won’t know until the event kicks off.

On the back there’s a new digital cube pattern like the Nexus 4, with a super thin front bezel.

In terms of camera there’s a 13 megapixel snapper on the rear, and a second 2 megapixel camera n the front, both of which can capture 1080p video. There’s also a 1.7GHz Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM, LTE capabilities and 32GB of inboard storage with expandability with a microSD card.

There’s even a 3,140mAh battery.

There’s no availability or pricing details yet, but we expect it might be pricey considering the specs.

Of course this is just a tease so we have no idea what this new series might be, but with MWC coming up soon it’s likely to be the release of a new smartphone/tablet or even a selection of smartphone/ tablets or a mixture between the two.

Or it could even be a tease for an event LG are planning, we should find out more in the coming weeks however.

Funnily enough it’s not to hard to get into the device, with just a couple of screws and a back panel standing in the way until you can take a look at what’s inside, once they did get inside they didn’t find anything to interesting, they dis however find the battery a little tricky to remove as it was attached with a couple of screws and adhesive.

The motherboard was however a bit easier and just required a wiggle to remove it from a couple of connectors.

Their final repairability score was 7 out of 10, down to the tricky battery removal and the glass front which has been fused to the display and frame.

You can find out more at the source link below.

Now we have an image of what is claimed to be the wireless charger for the device, which was sent to Phone Arena earlier today by an anonymous tipster, the image which you can take a look at above, does look like it could be a Google product, with Phone Arena going as far to say, “Its design appears to have been inspired by the looks of the Nexus Q.”

However as with any rumor this could just be a render from someone with nothing else to do, so after all we will have to wait until October 29th.

Ahead of Google’s event and after evleaks leaked images of the Nexus 4 earlier today, Carphone Warehouse has prematurely revealed the Nexus 4 on a pre-order page.

The phone will be manufactured by LG and will include a 4.7 inch HD display wi a 1280 x 768 resolution with a pixel density of 320ppi, and a Gorilla Glass display.

The phone will also measure 68.7 x 133.9 x 9.1 mm and will run Android 4.2 according to the listing, but for some reason the breakdown of its features has the handset down as Android 4.1.2 so it may launch with 4.1.2 and then get 4.2 at a later date.

As rumoured the Nexus 4 will also include a rear facing 8 megapixel camera with a 360 degree panoramic capture mode and NFC technology, all powered by a 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 quad-core processor, 8GBs of in-built storage which can be expanded with a microSD card.

Of course the listing has now been removed but whilst it was up, Carphone Warehouse added that they would be taking pre-ordered today starting free on a £31 a month contract to be delivered on October 30th, available on O2 and Vodaphone.

As of yet nothing has been confirmed but we should hear more when Google reveals it.
