HP quietly launches a new 8 inch Budget Android tablet in the US

Without notifying anyone, HP has gone ahead and launched a new 8-inch Android tablet in the US called the HP 8, a budget tablet which will be aimed at the mid-low end markets. The tablet features a 7.85 inch IPS display with a 1024 x 768 pixel resolution, an APM Cortex A7 quad-core processor made by the Chinese based producer Allwinner. On top of that the HP 8 also features 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, a microSD card slot, 802.11 b/g/n wireless connectivity, a 3,800mAh Lithium polymer battery that is said to last up to 7 hours, a 0.2Mp front-facing camera and a 2MP rear-facing camera. Matt Stone calls Stick of Truth’s censorship “lame, ridiculous and stupid”

The creator of South Park, Matt Stone on Friday released his own statement about Ubisoft’s decision to censor the European version of The Stick of Truth, in which the publisher decided to cut a total of seven scenes from the game, including those about abortions and probing, despite it’s 18+ rating. The Sony Xperia Z2 will hit the UK on April 11th

Phones4U are now taking pre-orders for Sony’s Xperia Z2 in the UK, something which has come after may other retailers revealed details for their own pre-order schemes. Their pre-order page also reveals something we didn’t know before, the handset will be ready to ship to customers on April 11th, at which point customers can also pick up the handset from these retailers in-store. In terms of specifications, the Sony Xperia Z2 features a 5.2 inch Full HD display with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM and an Adreno 330 GPU. Blocks Modular Smartwatch revealed

A UK-based company called Blocks have today announced their development of a modular smartwatch, called the Blocks Modular Smartwatch, the company didn’t provide much in terms of details for the watch, but they did reveal that the device is currently in production via their website. Also on their website they explain that the smartwatch will be designed to be fully customisable, allowing users to add and swap out individual blocks, adding various features to the watch itself. OS X Mavericks 10.9.3 beta adds support for 4K displays on Retina devices?

According to MacRumours the OS X Mavericks 10.9.3 beta adds support for 4K displays and devices that have a Retina resolution. According to the site, the new feature works with both the late 2013 Retina MacBook Pro and the new Mac Pro with Dell’s Ultrasharp 24 Ultra HD monitor, both of which they say they have tested with the new beta. Titanfall Xbox One console does exist, but it won’t be available to buy

An Xbox One console fro Titanfall does indeed exist, but it won’t be available to buy. Posted by Respawn themselves, the Titanfall Xbox One was first revealed in a photo posted via Tweet with the following message: “Almost hate to post this ’cause they aren’t for sale but Xbox brought our studio something amazing today.” The console has been completely skinned by Microsoft for Titanfall, uniquely designed specifically with the game in mind, it’s sad to know that the console version will not be available to purchase at any point. Denon reveals two new headphones, the AH-C120 and the AH-C50

The audio device maker Denon has today introduced two new in-ear headphones for its Music Maniac series, called the AH-C120 and the AH-C50. The AH-C120 in-ear headphones feature 11.5mm drivers that have been tuned to a Flat EQ, and feature a “hybrid metal” housing that cuts out resonance of bass-enhanced music, and a non-tangle cable that features a 1-button remote with an integrated microphone. There’s also an adapter cable for Sony smartphones included, with a number of silicon ear tips included in the box with a number of sizes, as well as comply foam ear tops for a custom fit, and a carrying case with a zipper.
