Not to be left behind by the IFA madness, Garmin has announced their new GPS sorts watch, the Forerunner 10 which they say has been designed to keep things simple which allows the watch to work great with any level of runner.

The watch does this by keeping stats to a minimum, only showing you the essentials such as speed and distance and calories burnt, all of these can then be uploaded to Garmin Connect, which allows you to easily track your progress online.

Garmin have also built a virtual trainer function into the watch that will let you know when you are moving faster or slower than your target pace.

The watch will be provided in green, pink or black with red accents, which allows the watch to be aimed at more or less anyone, all be it man or woman, and will set you back £99 when it is available in September.
