Since I first seen Hitman: Absolution I found myself extremely excited to play the game on release date, and have actually re-played through the first couple of games a couple of weeks ago, just to get a feel for the game and prep myself for Absolution hitting my doorstep.

But of course that playthrough would have been ten times better if the game was in HD, which may be coming to life after the Italian retailer, 16Games outed the game as up for sale earlier today.

Currently there’s no release date, or extra details about the game other than it’s in HD, but what is interesting is the cover art which has sliced images of Agent 47 from Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman: Contracts and Hitman: Blood Money.

These are obviously the games which will be included in the game, which brings a major downer for me as unfortunately the first game has been left out.

As well as the cover art the site also shows a price of 30 Euros, which is around £24 or $37, of course none of this is official yet but it does seem likely we will be sure to keep you informed as this develops.
