BlackBerry have finally released their 3G version of the PlayBook tablet in the UK, available to order from their site today, the 3G PlayBook has already been topped by the newer LTE version in the US but unfortunately doesn’t seem to be making its way across the pond.

Like all versions the 3G PlayBook packs 32Gb of storage and is powered by a 1.5GHz processor with 1 GB of RAM, which is a huge increase from the original 1GHz processor, there’s also a 7inch display with a 1024 x 600 resolution, 3MP front facing camera, 5MP rear facing camera with up to 1080p recording capabilities.

The 3G version of the tablet is available from today at the link below for £420, which if you’re thinking about competitors is only £30 cheaper than the iPad Mini or £180 more expensive than the Nexus 7 with 3G.
