One thing that is coming back this year is the smart table, with a number of announcements recently for the new devices.

One of those announcements is the Ideum Duet smart table which comes in both 42 and 46 inch sizes, and run both Windows 8.1 and the Android 4.4 KitKat operating systems within the unit.

The table itself also has a pixel resolution of 1920 x 1080 and has been constructed with aircraft grade aluminium with cold rolled steel.

The table also has IP54 water resistance certifications and is just 64mm thick.

For the Android operating system the table has a 2.0GHz Rockchip RK3288 processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage with 32GB extra available.

For the windows side the table has a 3.2GHz Intel Core i5-4570R processor, an integrated Iris Pro Graphics 5200, 8GB of RAM, and a 256GB SSD for the 42 inch version.

For the 46 inch version there’s a 3.5GHz Intel Core i7-4710HQ processor, a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 GPU, 16GB of RAM and a 51GB SSD.
