Alongside the leak of the render for the Google Pixel earlier today, Evan Blass posted a render for the new Google Chromecast Ultra.

This device has not been made official yet, but that didn’t stop Blass posting a render for it on his Twitter account earlier today.

According to rumours, this device will be similar to the normal Google Chromecast, however, it will also be capable of streaming video in a 4K resolution.

As you can see from the leaked render, it looks pretty similar to the previous Chromecast and it will plug into your TV via the HDMI port, just as it did before.

With the new 4K resolution, will come a new a new price tag according to rumours, which state that it might retail for $69.

Nothing is official just yet, however, Google does have an event for October 4th, so we should hear official details then.

We will let you know about the official stuff when we hear it.
