Netflix has today confirmed that it will be making 4K versions of the Breaking Bad series available on its platform in June, allowing anyone who subscribes to the service to stream the Sony owned series via Netflix, who are now remastering the series in full 4K resolution with 5.1 surround sound.

The announcement also comes after Netflix began airing Houses of Cards season 2 in 4K, alongside that it will be shooting and airing all of its originals in 4K from now on.

Netflix is also currently testing new offerings like extras from Orange is The New Black, as well as in interviews with the cast in their feature, Behind the Bars.

Netflix has said that their will be no extra charge for using their 4K service, and anyone who has a 4K TV will be able to stream 4K content on the series, using their HEVC codec.
