Like many of their other keynotes, Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook kicked of today’s event with some stats and figures, one of the biggest is the claim that the company will have sold 700 million iOS devices by the end of next month, which is staggering when you consider that they only announced in june that they had sold 600 million iOS devices.

That number includes sales of the iPhone, iPad and the iPod Touch.

Alongside that, Cook also mentioned some new stuff about Apple’s retail stores, stating that they will be  “turning our focus back home” and have built a brand new store in Stanford, California, and to finish off the stats, Cook mentioned that over 20 million people had applied for tickets to go see bands at their iTunes Music Festival.

We will have more Apple news for you soon, with the event going on now, the feed is sure to be full soon.
