At IFA this week, Acer revealed more details about their next Chromebook to be released, after first unveiling it back in July.

Called the Acer Chromebook R 13, it is a convertible laptop/tablet that will be launched in October 2016 for from $399.

It comes equipped with up to 64GB of inbuilt storage, a MediaTek MT8173C quad-core processor, PowerVR GX6250 graphics, and 4GB of RAM.

The Chrombook/ convertible tablet also features a 13.3-inch display and a 720p webcam.

It also has a battery life that is said to last up to 12 hours from a single charge, Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi 802.11ac connectivity, USB 3.0, an HDMI port and a microSD card slot for further expansion.

Prices for the Acer Chromebook R13 will start at $400 for the 16GB memory option and will be available in October.
