We all expected a lot from Acer for their part of this year’s CES, and they have certainly come up trumps announcing a variant of new laptops, including the ultra thin Acer Aspire S5, and a brand new Transformer Prime.

But Acer accordingly had one more tablet up their sleeves, which for some unknown reason they showed of for a couple of seconds before taking it back again, but we have managed to find some specs for the tablet, and they look good.

The new Iconia tab will pack for starters a quad-core CPU, alongside a brilliant 1280×800 high resolution 10.1 screen, alongside this, you will also be able to watch your movies in full HD, and matches the Transformer Prime.

Other than those few specs, we can only continue by adding that it will also come with Android 4.0, so no Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade just yet, other than that we currently have no details on any pricing or the UK or even International release date, but are hoping they show a little more of at the Mobile World Congress 2012.
