Ahead of the date when the doors open for IFA 2013, Acer has today announced a slurry of new products, one of those is the new Acer Iconia A3 tablet, which sports a 10 inch 1280 x 800 screen.

Alongside which the tablet’s display also features 151 ppi, with Dolby Digital Plus speakers in-built. There’s also a quad-core 1.2GHz A7 processor inside, with a 5 megapixel camera, micro HDMI port and a microSD card slot.

More interestingly however is a new feature called Intellispin, which allows the tablet to know which way you’re viewing it, being laid flat, held up, upside down or whatever other position you could think of.

Both a 3G and Wi-Fi only version will be available this October for €300 and €250 respectively.
