Earlier this week Acer announced the launch of a new monitor that has been designed for PC gamers.

Dubbed the Acer XR341CKA, it is a 34-inch UltraWide curved monitor that features a Quad HD 3,440 x 1,440 pixel resolution and NVIDIA’s G-SYNC technology, which reduces screen tear and shutter. It also has an IPS display panel.

The monitor also has a 21:9 aspect ratio, with a 178 degree viewing angle, which should provide a more immersive and full experience.

And because the screen is also curved that every corner is at the same distance from the user’s eyes, which should provide a uniform viewing experience, which can even be configured as a multi-monitor setup.

The screen also has 6-axis colour adjustment, with three different aim-points that can be chosen from.

It also has a HDMI and DisplayPort input alongside a USB 3.0 hub.

The Acer XR341CKA monitor will be available in North America this September starting at $1,299, no other availability or pricing has been announced yet.
