Acer has today revealed two products that they will be showing off during the IFA 2014 trade show in Berlin.

The first of the two is the Acer Liquid Leapband which is a smartband that was first unveiled during Computex in Taiwan, it also features a 1 inch touchscreen, and a band that has been made from an hypoallergenic rubber in a design that is made for both men and women.

The band can also track a user’s steps, running distance, calories burned and sleep times. It is also waterproof IPX7, and can be used for various functions that includes play, pause, previous and next when paired with a smartphone.

To do this the band uses Bluetooth 4.0 technology, and a battery that is said to last up to seven days.

The band will be available from late September in white, black, green, pink and orange.

The second of the two is a new 5 inch mid-range smartphone that is only 7.5mm thick, dubbed the Acer Liquid Jade, it has a HD resolution and an IPS LCD display.

Inside there’s also a 1.3GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, and storage space that starts at 8GB depending on your region. On the back there’s also a 13 megapixel camera, and on the front there’s a 2 megapixel camera.

The smartphone will also run on Android 4.4 KitKat and features a 2,100mAh battery.

The Liquid Jade will be available in green, white, black and pink for £79.99.
