Acer has today launched the new Predator XB271HU monitors, with two different options for gamers to choose from.

Both displays are sized at 27 inches and are equipped with support for Nvidia G-Sync technology. The first monitor features a 2,560 x 1,440 pixel resolution IPS panel that has a 165Hz refresh rate and a 4ms response time.

It also has a 250 cd/m² maximum brightness with 100 per cent sRGB colour gamut coverage. With G-Sync you can also increase the refresh rate to 165Hz.

Both also feature a frame-less design with a red + black stand that allows the user to adjust the height, tilt, swivel and rotation.

The second (XB271HK) boosts those specs with a 4K Ultra HD IPS panel that has a 60Hz refresh rate, also with a 4ms response time, a 300 cd/m² maximum brightness and input ports for DisplayPort 1.2.

The XB271HK will be priced at $899 and the XB271HU will be $799.
