Acer has today unveiled its latest Chromebook offering, dubbed the Acer C720P Chomebook, it is an upgraded version of the previous $200 C720,but features a similar low-price tag of $299.99 alongside a set of new features.

In terms of features, the C720P features a 1366 x 768 pixel touchscreen with an Intel Celeron 2955U Haswell processor, 32GB SSD, 2GB DDR3 RAM, webcam, dual stereo speakers, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, an external HDMI port, 100GB of Google Drive space included, and a 7.5 hour battery life.

The C720P also runs on Chrome OS, weighing in at 2.98 pounds and measuring 0.78 inches thick.

The Acer C720P Chromebook will be available for $299.99 in the US, starting from early December at Amazon, Best Buy and the Acer store.
