Acer have today announced the release of their latest handset to hit Europe, the Acer Liquid E2, which is the upgrade from the previous Liquid E1, and packs a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 4.5 inch qHD display and an 8 megapixel camera that they say includes “zero shutter delay.”

Alongside which you can also pick up the phone with an optional dual-SIM card slot, and it will run on stock Jelly Bean.

The Acer Liquid E2 will hit the  UK, France, Germany in early-to-mid-May for €229, with other countries will following soon after.
