Activision and Treyarch have today revealed that they have added Twitch live streaming to Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 allowing users to live stream to the Twitch straight from the game, available on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
If used on the PC you will also be able to broadcast the player’s webcam alongside the game and audio commentary.
Emmett Shear, CEO of twitch said the following about the inclusion, “Live streaming Call of Duty in-game via a simple one-click option is a first of its kind feature that will blow the doors wide open to the online community, there’s nothing else like Call of Duty. With the weight of Call of Duty: Black Ops II bringing live broadcasting to the masses, in-game streaming has been taken to another level.”
Live streams will be available of Twitch via a web browser on the PC, smartphone or even tablet and will also show a users player card during the stream, allowing viewers to see class loadouts, recent match data and career stats across all the CoD titles.
