Since it debuted in 2014, Destiny players have been waiting for more content to be added to the game, and now that we are in a slow stage of the game’s release cycle, those users are now just waiting for an entirely new game.

Today Activision revealed that this waiting period will finally be available in fall 2017.

They revealed this as part of their investor’s call this week, revealing the following in a slide of the investor presentation:

They didn’t reveal an exact date for the release date of Destiny 2, or even a financial quarter for that release date.

That all said, if it is going to be fall 2017 then you can expect to hear more during E3 2017, or sometime shortly thereafter, at which point we will be sure to update you.
