This week ADATA Technology revealed their latest NAND Flash External 3D SSD, called the SD600 it uses the latest high-quality 3D TLC NAND to offer speeds of up to 440MB/s read and 430MB/s write.

It will be available in 256GB and 512GB variants, and is compatible, driver-free, with the PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Android devices.

It also comes with DRAM cache and SLC cache to allow the SSD to perform better when handling heavy operational loads or large files, with the ability to operate in a pSLC mode that makes it great for handling high-priority operations.

This should make it pretty great for a range of tasks from loading games on your console to managing video files on your PC.

It uses impact-resistant materials for a rugged design to protect it from drops, falls, or bumps, with all-black and red/black colour schemes available with a total weight of just 90g, making it a great option for anyone who cares about the weight or design of their SSD.
