Joining many other companies, Adidas unveiled their own smartwatch yesterday, dubbed the Adidas miCoach Smart Run, designed specifically for runners, Adidas say it will be available from November 1st.

Featuring a 1.45 inch TFT LCD colour display with a 184 x 184 pixel resolution, and it runs and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

Alongside which, the smartwatch also features real-time continuous heart rate measurement from the wrist, as well as GPS technology for pace, distance and route logging.

There’s also a built-in accelerometer for stride rate measurement, WLAN sync with miCoach platform for training planning and lifetime stats tracking, as well as Bluetooth audio for music and coaching, watch and timer functions, manual and automatic laps, over the air updates, 4GB of memory for music and workout storage and finally access to strength and flexibility coaching videos.

The Adidas miCoach Smart Run smartwatch will be available from November 1st in the US for $399.
