With new touchscreen technology like tablets, smartphones, and the odd laptop we all end up going to touch pretty much every device that we come in contact with. This is something that I go to do constantly, but there is a way to treat this habit.
It’s called AirBar, which is a new accessory for your PC that will instantly turn your PC into a touchscreen device.
It was designed by the Swedish company Neonode and was launched in the US today for pre-order.
They say that it is compatible with both Chromebook notebooks and PCs running either Windows 8.1 or Windows 10. It features a thin matte black bar design, with a magnetic strip along the bottom to make it easy to attach and remove.
And it doesn’t need any software to work, simply plug it in a USB port and you’re ready to go.
It provides this touchscreen compatible by using Neonode’s patented zForce Air technology, which will emit an invisible light field and will allow the device to sense touch from fingers, or any finger like object, such as a paintbrush or pen.
It is available for pre-order now for $69, which options for 13.3-inch, 14-inch, and 15.6-inch models.
