Ahead of CES 2015 Alcatel OneTouch has revealed a new smartphone called the PIXI 3.

What makes the smartphone so interesting is that it will be compatible with three operating systems, Android, Windows phone and Firefox OS.

Alongside the operating system choices, the PIXI 3 will also be available in four different sizes, 3.5 inch, 4 inch, 4.5 inch and 5 inch, making it one of the only smartphones to offer the user a range of options before buying.

As of yet Alcatel OneTouch hasn’t revealed any details on how the smartphone will work with the operating system trading, and it has yet to provide any specifications for the hardware that will be included with the smartphone.

We should however hear more during CES 2015 next week.

What is interesting is that HP recently sold the Palm trademark to Nicolas Zibell, the president of Alcatel OneTouch Americas which could mean that we might see a Palm device from the company soon. This is backed up by the Palm.com website which currently shows the slogan “smart move”, which is the same as Alcatel’s own slogan.

However as of yet, anything to do with Palm and Alcatel is pure speculation.
