Alcatel have today announced a fair few devices today during CES 2013, one of which is the One Touch Idol Ultra which they have claimed to be the “world’s slimmest smartphone” which is just 6.45 millimeters thick.

The phone itself runs a 4.7 inch AMOLED display with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Alcatel also sat that this is the lightest smartphone in its category at just 110 grams.

This will be sold alongside Alcatel’s other new devices that were announced today including the One Touch Scribe HD, however they have not announced when the Idol Ultra will be launched.
