13 years after they started selling games in the UK, Amazon has today announced that they will now be offering digital downloads for video games in the UK in an attempt to keep up with other retailers across the industry.

With a list of around 600 titles, the site is allowing uses to download and play there purchase as soon as they buy it, with games ranging from paid titles such as Tomb Raider and even free-to-play games such as Stronghold Kingdoms.

Alongside the games, customers can also download in-game content and use them instantly in-game.

Amazon will also be offering a range of software packages on a similar download package, with software that includes Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop and many more.

Once purchased the download is stored for free in the customer’s digital library, where they can review product keys and re-download packages at any time.
