You may have heard of the Amazon Dash service, it’s basically a button that allows you to quickly order products with the press of a button, its been available in the US since March 2015, but from today, it will be available in the UK, allowing use brits to get our own buttons for fast ordering of the essentials.

To get started, you connect one of these buttons to your home’s WiFi network, and then enable the button from within the Amazon app for the product of your choosing, say washing powder, or toilet role.

Then each time you press the button, Amazon will push a notification to your smartphone to let you know the price, delivery time and cancel the order if you pressed it accidentally. And to stop repeated orders, Amazon will only fulfil a new order once the previous one has been delivered.

At launch in the UK, Fairy, Kleenex, Netutrogena and around 40 more brands will be available to set up with the Dash service.

You do have to be a Prime member to use it, and the buttons will cost £4.99 each, however, Amazon is offering £4.99 in free credit after you do so.
